Técnica Audiovisual Digitsuit has its main office in Seville. It consists of 300 square metres. It has four postproduction and graphics studios rooms, all of them equipped with state of the art Apple workstations and Final Cut Studio HD. This enables the system to transmit big amounts of 10-bits non-compressed, high definition data, which is a feature unique in the whole region of Southern Spain.

Fibre optics provides high speed data exchange among the different rooms, up to three Gigabytes per second simultaneously. This allows Final Cut to deal with big amounts of data in real time, even if the whole system is working at the maximum speed.

The core of the system is two servers with up to 28 terabytes of ultra safe storage capacity. In other words, the system can store more than 1800 hours of HDV video. Four interconnected XRAID units guarantee the stability, security and speed of the system.

Shared storage also offers a great advantage in terms of simultaneousness. Each room can work independently in a different project but it is also possible to work on the same project from different rooms at the same time, which adds to the cost-effectiveness of the project.

Digitsuit Extremadura has four postproduction rooms, as well as one small sound studio and an area for the administration and production departments. Just as it happens in Digitsuit’s headquarters, all our rooms in Extremadura are equipped with state of the art Apple workstations and Final Cut Studio HD.

 AGILE graphics technology is another of Digitsuit’s technical features. Developed by MSN Kroma, Agile is designed to generate real time dynamic messages, such as texts or graphics. Agile is an incredibly flexible tool. It can interact with other systems, such as studio lighting or sound, while launching electronic counters, scoreboards, game panels, etc. These features makes Agile the most advanced real-time graphics system on the market. In fact, Chinese broadcasters will use this technology during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
